This trip focuses on nearshore and offshore fishing, depending on the selected package. Half-day trips are conducted closer to shore and are ideal for a light fishing experience, while full-day trips go further out, offering a higher chance of encountering medium to larger fish.
The main fishing method is fresh bait bottom fishing, which is the most effective technique in this area. Lure fishing (casting or jigging) can be arranged upon request with prior notice, but may require experience.
Target species may include Coral Trout, Trevally, Tuna, and more, depending on conditions. Please note that catch is not guaranteed, as results depend on weather, tide, and individual fishing skills.
You will be fishing aboard a well-equipped boat with experienced local crew. Fishing gear, bait, and basic equipment are provided.
Electric reels (optional add-on) are available for full-day trips, allowing access to deeper waters and increasing the chances of encountering larger fish.
All trips depart from JETI PELANCONG SEMPORNA JETTY. Please note that hotel transfers are not included. Guests staying at island resorts or remote areas must inform in advance; transfer arrangements can be made with additional charges.

The photos show you catching large feed deep at sea. We only caught some tiny coral trout. The company charged me an extra 40 pound to drop my bag off to water bungalow 100 meters from the dock.

We would like to clarify a few points for future guests: Fishing results: Fishing is a nature-based activity, and results can vary depending on tides, weather conditions, individual technique, and also a certain degree of luck. On the same trip, other guests onboard were able to catch more fish, while some had fewer, which is part of the experience. Photos on the listing: All photos are from real previous trips under different sea conditions. They are meant to showcase possible catches, but not to guarantee identical results on every trip. Additional transfer request: We understand that the distance to the water bungalow may appear short. However, the request to drop off luggage at a water resort is considered a non-standard arrangement, which requires additional boat coordination, time, and operational handling. For this reason, an extra fee was clearly communicated and agreed upon prior to the trip. We always aim to be transparent and provide a professional experience for all guests, and we truly appreciate your feedback.
