    Excellent fishing trip in Semporna!

    Friendly crew, great service, and amazing fishing spots. Caught a beautiful red snapper and had a fantastic day at sea. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Semporna. Will definitely join again!

    The photos show you catching large feed deep at sea. We only caught some tiny coral trout. The company charged me an extra 40 pound to drop my bag off to water bungalow 100 meters from the dock.

    Thank you for your feedback, and we’re truly sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it can feel when the catch is smaller than expected. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests: Fishing results: Fishing is a nature-based activity, and results can vary depending on tides, weather conditions, individual technique, and also a certain degree of luck. On the same trip, other guests onboard were able to catch more fish, while some had fewer, which is part of the experience. Photos on the listing: All photos are from real previous trips under different sea conditions. They are meant to showcase possible catches, but not to guarantee identical results on every trip. Additional transfer request: We understand that the distance to the water bungalow may appear short. However, the request to drop off luggage at a water resort is considered a non-standard arrangement, which requires additional boat coordination, time, and operational handling. For this reason, an extra fee was clearly communicated and agreed upon prior to the trip. We always aim to be transparent and provide a professional experience for all guests, and we truly appreciate your feedback.

The fish was powerful, heavy, and absolutely stunning in color — a true trophy catch. Our crew helped with everything: setting up, guiding during the fight, landing the fish safely, and taking photos so the moment is unforgettable. If you’re looking for a real deep sea fishing experience in Semporna with a chance at trophy fish, this trip is 100% worth it. Can’t wait for the next adventure!

We focused on slow jigging, and it didn’t take long before we got a strong strike that instantly loaded up the rod. This Pearl Perch fought deep and heavy, making powerful runs and putting up an amazing battle. After a steady fight, we finally brought a true trophy fish on board — thick, strong, and absolutely beautiful. If you want a real offshore fishing experience in Semporna and a chance at quality fish like Pearl Perch, this is the trip for you. Can’t wait to do it again!

Semporna, Sabah: Two Big Fish Day

What an unforgettable offshore day in Semporna! We headed out with great conditions — steady seas, good visibility, and perfect water for working both reef structure and open areas. The plan was to target quality reef fish first, then switch to jigging for hard fighters later in the day — and it worked perfectly. The first highlight was a beautiful Longnose Emperor. The bite was strong and the fish immediately stayed deep, pulling heavy with solid power and stubborn head shakes. It tried hard to get back into the reef, making the fight technical and exciting. With steady pressure and good teamwork on board, we managed to bring this thick, trophy-sized Emperor safely to the boat. After that, we moved on to jigging — and the action got even more intense. A sudden aggressive strike loaded up the rod instantly, followed by unstoppable runs. This was pure GT power! The Giant Trevally fought hard from start to finish, showing exactly why it’s one of the most respected sport fish in the world. Landing two trophy species in one trip — a Longnose Emperor and a GT — made this day truly special. Semporna continues to prove it has world-class offshore fishing, with both quality reef species and serious big-fish potential.
