If you're ready to enjoy fishing in Yankeetown or Crystal River, look no further than Black Dog Charters II. We have logged many hours on the tides in the area, not to mention good fishing zone for each time of the season and Captain Bradley can tell you all about the local fishery while out in the water!
Here are some of the fish we come across ,the species you can catch around here include Speckled Trout, Sand Trout/Sliver Trout, Cobia, Snook, Redfish, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Pompano, Permit, Sheepshead, Gag Grouper, and more if conditions are right. During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, heavy tackle that are specialized in this area. You will catch some fish and go home with something to eat, or if its just catch 'n' releasing, you can do that too.
Capt. Bradley welcomes you aboard a 27' Sailfish 2660 center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials to make fishing machine run on point. There's a toilet on board for your convenience or bucket too!
The charters covers your fishing license, Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, along with lures, Live bait plus ice too. Be sure to ask about it so you know what you'll be catching at that time. So all you have to do, is look forward to is a great trip! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
First Mate can be there's to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 15–20% tip is customary.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain was very friendly. The forecast was not the best for the day so we started a little early to beat the storms. Perfect call by the captain. We boats about 10 different species of fish. Kept all we needed for a great meal. On the trip in and out of the river to the gulf we saw alligators, turtles, large gar, dolphin, and bus of every color. It is truly the nature coast. Caught lots of fish and had a great time. The boat and all of the equipment are in excellent shape. They looked almost new. You can tell when a captain really enjoys his work. It shows in the small details. We will be back and we will book with him again. Thank you for helping my daughter in law enjoy her first charter trip. She is hooked now and wants a slot red of her own.
today the weather was against us, but it ended up holding out enough for us to get the job done while we were able to get a bunch of keepers for y’all. I’ll make sure next time she gets a big old keeper red instead of the small ones , you all where great to have on the boat and its all ways nice ti have some nice and well rounded people that love to fish on a charter like today. untio next time yiu all be safe n see yiu in a few months 
Capt. Bradley is in a league of his own. knows what he's doing and works hard to put you on fish. Brought my 84 year old father for a fathers day trip that we wont soon forget. Landed his first sea trout and she was a dandy! Everyone on the boat caught fish. tarpon eluded us, but when loaded up the cooler with trout, flounder, jacks, and red fish. All in all it was a great day. Capt. Bradley is very accommodating and gracious. 10 out of 10!
thank you jeffery i glad to see you lr dad just enjoying every moment on the water and you all were a ball of fun with jokes and humor along the way I’m glad you guys thought it was a great trip. We definitely caught some good fish and definitely caught a lot of fish. We had to go through a bunch of the little ones to find the ones that we needed to fill the box until next time safe travels. See you all soon. 
Bradley was very knowledgeable and his boat/equipment were very nice. We only had 2 keepers, but it wasn’t for lack of trying. He took us to a lot of different spots and there were always other fishermen there, so he did know where to go. We did the 8 hour trip and did not get bored once. He had tons of good bait, but we weren’t having much luck. My son’s trout was great, though. The marina was easy to find and the boat was fairly easy to board.
thank you kelly. so that day there was a lot of people n captain in the spot i want ti fish n you were the i s catch all the fish lol. you definitely had the touch n luck that day. but there was nothing stopping me from finding the fish n bite . we had some big fish come off the hook but like tiu said it was a bunch of fun with a lot of action still so that is what made it fun thou . until next time i see you all be safe .
Our first time on a fishing boat. It was absolutely amazing. Captain was very knowledgeable. Helped everyone with equipment. In total we caught 40+ fish today. Took our boys ranging from 8-16 and they had the best time. Yes was the trip early it was but man was it worth it.
