10K Adventures
Spend the day with 10K Adventures and find out what the fishing south of Naples is all about! Having logged thousands of days on many bodies of water and boats from 10-150', Captain Kevin will get you to the fishing grounds and back safely and without incident.
There are no guarantees in fishing, but just some of the species you can catch in the 10K Islands/Gulf of America include Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Goliath Grouper, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Pompano, Jack Crevalle, Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Bonnethead Shark, Permit, and more.
You'll target your catch by spinning gear on mainly light tackle, or maybe something more specialized if bigger fare is encountered. You're free to bring home most of the legal fish you catch, he'll even clean and bag them for you. Heck if you're lucky he may share a recipe or two!
Your day begins aboard a well-appointed 18' flats boat that holds up to 2 passengers plus the captain. Keeping the trip to two anglers will allow for plenty of space for everyone!
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter. There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Live bait will be used when available, Captain may have to add a little time to the trip so he can catch fresh bait for your trip on the fly. Some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons, if you don't know what to expect, ask the Captain.
Bottled water will be available, but some other essentials to bring are sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray) and a snack. A couple beers is cool but please don't plan on getting coming to get smashed. Cans/plastic bottles only please.
Fishing is only part of the Ten Thousand Adventures, ask about customized trips for site-seeing, island-hopping, shelling, exploring, birding or photography trips.
Please note that Port of the Islands sits in the Ten Thousand Islands and has a 3 mile "No-Wake Zone" to protect the many local manatee and will add about an hour to the trip.

Hard Working Captain
Fished with Captain Bell on 8/5/25. Right off I tied his hands by having to stay in and around the backwater because my grandson gets seasick in more open water. Captain Bell did not surger coat the fact that fishing inside would be tough as water temps were mid 90s. But I can say I’ve never fished with a harder working Captain. He worked his butt off to make sure he gave us every chance to catch a few fish. He stayed positive and kept a smile on his face and was a pleasure to fish with. Evan though the fishing was slow we did manage several species including a Goliath grouper ( a bucket list fish for me). The Captain covered close to 40 miles looking fish for us and we got to see some of the beautiful 10k islands. I’ve already started planning my next trip with 10K adventures.

Grouper Dreams Delivered!!! – An Unforgettable Day with Captain Kevin!
Took my dad out for a special Father’s Day/birthday fishing trip and told Captain Kevin all I wanted was for us to catch grouper—and that’s exactly what we did! Kevin knows the waters better than anyone and clearly has the best spots. His knowledge of marine biology, sea life, and even the birds we saw out there was seriously impressive. You can tell he’s lived a thousand lifetimes’ worth of adventure (which makes perfect sense since his business is called 10 Thousand Adventures), and his stories made the trip even more fun. For being smack in the middle of Florida’s rainy season, we somehow got a full day of fishing in. He takes his job seriously, knows what he’s doing, and still manages to be super down-to-earth—relaxed, friendly, and full of great energy all around. We caught fish, made memories, and honestly, a new friend. If you’re looking to catch fish, have a blast, and hear some wild tales, Kevin’s your guy. I’ll absolutely be calling him again for the next trip.

Great Captain, Great Time.
Kevin was kind, respectful and patient. He was willing to teach us different methods of retrieving our bait(reeling it in), how to hook live bait correctly, made sure we found good spots to fish, put us on fish quickly, he knows where to go for what kind of fish. It was a blast. My wife had a wonderful time and I'm grateful for how much fun he made the time for my wife. Will definitely return to Kevin again for charter services.

Amazing Day With Captain Bell
I had an amazing day out on the water! My friend and I went out hoping to catch some big fish and we did. Captain Bell was not only really positive and encouraging, but also very knowledgeable about fishing, Florida, and nature, which made even the downtime fun and interesting. Couldn’t have asked for a better trip. 10/10 recommend Ten Thousand Adventures!
