Hurricane Charters – Dauphin Island 

Hurricane Charters invites you to experience the stunning waters of Dauphin Island. With Captain Jerry at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.

These waters are known for Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, Sheepshead, Jack Crevalle, Flounder, Redfish, Skipjack, Great Barracuda, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Jerry runs a 25' Blazer Bay boat. It comes with all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
