If you plan on fishing in Panama City Beach, look no further than Triple B Charters. Captain Harris Scruggs will lead the way. He's a Panama City, FL, native and has been fishing these beautiful waters for a living the past 15 years.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Amberjack, Red Snapper, Red Grouper, Gray Triggerfish, Kingfish, Vermilion Snapper, Grouper, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Mangrove Snapper, Bonito, and anything else that bites. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using heavy tackle. The fish caught are yours to keep, so long as they're within the legal limit. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Talk about bang for your buck!
Families making a day of it will be glad that kids are welcome aboard! Whether you are a novice or an experienced angler, Capt. Harris and his crew can accommodate you and your family. It's always wise to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
You'll step aboard a 40' Convertible with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and fishing licenses. You can also use live bait, either caught or bought before the trip.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

This was a last minute booking for us on a busy holiday weekend. We have been on several deep water fishing trips and the people we used were all busy. Thankfully, Team Aquatic had a last minute cancellation the day before. I highly recommend this Captain and his boat! He was very personable. Him and Ray made everyone comfortable (for the ones who ended up not wanting to fish) and educated and kept up with all the ones who were fishing! We will be back!

- Fishing license (We have a federal fishing permit allowing us to fish beyond 9 miles of the coastline to get you on some less pressured fish. All license are included in boat price. )
