On these trips, it's common to spin using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Cliffton also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Young ones are welcome, so get 'em offline and onto the water! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep their stamina going!
Your vessel for the day is a 23' Hanson center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Cliff came recommended by another captain at the last. Even with pending weather the Captain’s experience was evident. We were into trophy snook in no time and from there we moved on to trout. Unfortunately the weather became unsafe and we were unable to fish for the redfish, which I am sure would have been fun. I am impressed with Captain’s experience and knowledge and cannot wait for our next trip.
