Spangler Adventures - Cape Coral 

Five star and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fishing trip! Down for the week as our son goes through captain school so we booked a trip with Spangler adventures. Booking was easy, communication was prompt and complete and They were very accommodating as we booked an 8 hour trip and realized if we left at 8am we wouldn't be back in enough time for our son to get to class in time so they accommodated us and met us at the dock at 6:30. Captain Chris was great. The bait shop didn't open when they were supposed to so we got started a few minutes late but Captain Chris added time to the end of the trip. He didn't let that effect our time at all fishing. .Everything about the trip was fun for the kids, young and old 😉. Chris called the night before to find out our expectations and he met them to the T. He even went the extra mile to teach us different knots and gave our son great info and suggestions for when he starts chartering. He had us back to the dock in time and promptly cleaned our fish for us. He even let the kids have a little fun at the dock feeding the tarpon with the fish remains.. All in all it was a perfect day out in the water with Spangler adventures!

Its one thing to know where the fish are, it's another to know and read your customers - Caotain Alan was amazing at both! We chose this as one of our family adventures this vacation, and we were not disappointed. Captain Alan was amazing with our the kiddos (ranging in age from 13 to 6). He was beyond patient, and kept us on the fish so the kids could have a great time. We couldn't even get one live baited and back in and we had two more lines already hitting! I cannot rave about him enough - and the kids already said as they get bigger they would love to come back and try more styles with Captain Alan! Thank you Captain Alan for an amazing morning! If your a mom of young kiddos and looking for an adventure, I highly recommend Sprangler Adventures with Captain Alan - you will not regret the memories and smiles that you'll capture (and the tasty fish too!)

Took the family out with Capt. Alan for a 6 hr inshore trip. We had great weather with a nice breeze. We probably landed around 60 fish. Seven species ( sea trout, grouper, mackerel, sea bass, snapper, catfish and snook). There were few other sighted in open water. This was a great family outing. Capt. Alan had us using a few different techniques. Some took more skill than others, All spots he put us on, we caught fish. He took time with some of my less experienced family members and explained the methods needed for a successful day.

Recommend him 100% if you are in Cape Coral! If you wanna catch fish book Spangler adventures! Great with the kids, they are 15 and 21. Very friendly and can keep a conversation! Great personality!

This was a great trip! It was windy so couldn’t go to all of the places he had hoped for but this didn’t stop Captain Alan from scouring the area for the best spots. Family of 5 with kids ages 10, 13 and 14 caught over 50 fish for 6 hours. Spotted sea trout and lady fish were hitting. He was great with the kids and I would not hesitate to recommend him. Hoping to use his services in the future if life allows.

Alan did a good job keeping us engaged with the fish and did great with the kids!

We went out on New years eve. The wife wanted us to catch a meal and grandpa, myself and my boys wanted to catch some sharks. Capt. Mark took us straight to the 1st spot to catch some large Sheepshead and Snapper.We caught our new year's eve meal at the 1st spot, plus a few pufferfish. We went to a 2nd spot for sheepshead and then off to the sharks. We caught 15 - 18 or so, black tipped and spotted. See pics. Everybody loved it and will never forget it. Thank you Capt. Mark! We would book with Capt. Mark again, he'll put you on the spot.

Had a nice day on the water. Got some snook and trout. Captain Alan was knowledgeable, helpful, informative and didn’t waste time fishing unproductive areas. Great, stable boat for the type of fishing that we were doing.

While we didn’t have the best weather, his knowledge of the river took us to numerous spots. He helped us learn fishing better as well and made it an enjoyable morning on the water.

Alan is a great captain! He can put it in the mangroves just like the best of us. It was a great trip caught a ton of fish! I look at boats and captain's before going. You will not have a problem fishing with Alan! He is the man even though he was born in Calumet city IL. I didn't ask him but I would say his DAD'S name is Jake or Elwood!
