Spend the day with Winyah Adventures and let them show you what makes the fishing in Murrells Inlet so memorable! With Captain Nicholas at the helm, you're in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blue Marlin, Blackfin Tuna, Redfish, Flounder, Scamp Grouper, Mahi Mahi, and anything else that bites.
You'll target your catch by spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Nicholas can also take you Flounder gigging. For the more adventurous among you, there's bowfishing.
Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be dropping lines from a 22' G3 bay boat that holds up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
You can't go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So make it happen, with Winyah Adventures!
