If you're ready to start fishing in Orange Beach, look no further than Deep South Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Jeb Brantley is prepared to put you on fish.

The fish in these waters include Amberjack, Skipjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Scamp Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Blacktip Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Red Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, and more, depending on when you go. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to keep their stamina going!

You'll be dropping lines from a 42' Hatteras sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Jeb will provide rods and reels for you. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 20% to show your appreciation.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
