Ready to catch some fish in Cedar Key? Jerald's Coastal Tours and Fishing is your ticket!
These waters hold game fish like Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Redfish, Bull Shark, Cobia, and more if conditions are right. On these trips, it’s common to drift using light tackle.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are also a good idea to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
Your vessel for the day is a 24' Carolina Skiff that holds up to 8 passengers. It has all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

6 Hour Trip – Discover Old Florida
Best trip ever!
Captain Jerold was the best experienced guide! We caught fish at every spot he took us…Redfish, Speckled Trout, Spanish Makerel, Whiting, and Drum! We had the pleasure of seeing numerous manatees, dolphins, and the ‘Sanctuary Island’ (The name escapes me sadly) for pelicans and many other types of beautiful birds in the area! Captain Jerold had a great attitude, awesome sense of humor and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed everything he did to make sure we had a successful day.

Good fishing trip
Late start due to weather - SAFETY FIRST! First choice required going into area under thunder storms - SAFETY FIRST! I will schedule another time when it's safe. Second choice - he put us right on them. He knew where they were! I look forward to my NEXT trip with Jerold. (sooner rather than later)

Amazing trip!
We had an absolute blast on this trip. We had our two kids with us and Jerald was knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He knew the area and was great to work with. He made sure that each person got to have their moment as well as see the beautiful area around Cedar Key. Highly recommend!!
