Nature Coast Angling is here to show you the stunning waters of Cedar Key. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Patrick knows them forwards and back.

These waters are known for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Snook, Tarpon, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black Drum, and more – with any luck, you'll have tight lines in no time. On these trips, it’s common to troll using light tackle.

Trips with Nature Coast Angling are child-friendly, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You'll be welcome aboard a 24' Skiff with capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.

Capt. Patrick has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

    From the very first interaction, Captain Patrick was amazing! He did everything he could to make ensure that we caught fish, and catch fish we did! Everything from red fish, to various species of sharks, to trout, and a black drum… you name it, we probably hooked it.  captain Patrick was very engaging and informative and made sure that the hooks had bait on them at all times. Never a dull moment! Can’t wait to get back there and book him again!

From the very first interaction, Captain Patrick was amazing! He did everything he could to make ensure that we caught fish, and catch fish we did! Everything from red fish, to various species of sharks, to trout, and a black drum… you name it, we probably hooked it.  captain Patrick was very engaging and informative and made sure that the hooks had bait on them at all times. Never a dull moment! Can’t wait to get back there and book him again!
