Rooster's Guide Service is all about fishing the stunning waters of Lake Texoma. Your guide for the day is Captain Mark, which means you'll tap into years of local experience.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Striped Bass, Catfish, and anything else that bites. You'll target your catch by spinning, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Customers are encouraged to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your boat for the day is a 24' Blazer Bay center console with capacity for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Capt. Mark has rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait will also be provided.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is also allowed

The Lake Texoma Whisperer

Now, if you ever find yourself on Lake Texoma and you want to catch fish like a pro, you need Mark. I swear he knows every underwater nook, cranny, and fish hangout like he’s got a GPS chip in his brain. He can tell you what bait to use based on the wind direction, moon phase, and whether your socks match. He’s like a fishing encyclopedia with a Southern drawl and a tackle box that looks like it belongs in a museum.
Stripers, catfish, crappie—you name it, Mark knows where they are, what they’re hungry for, and how to make them practically jump into your boat out of respect.

What a blast! We had the best time striper fishing on Lake Texoma with Mark. Not only did we reel in some solid-sized stripers (seriously, some big ones!), but Mark made the whole trip fun from start to finish. He was awesome with my daughter—patient, funny, and made sure she felt like part of the crew. Great guide, great vibes, and great fish. We’ll definitely be back for round two!

Absolutely incredible experience! From start to finish, our trip exceeded all expectations. Mark was knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. He put us right on the fish and made sure everyone had a great time. The boat and equipment were top-notch, and the scenery alone was worth the trip. I can’t recommend Mark enough—already planning our next outing!
