You’ll fish from a 25’ Shearwater center console, a spacious boat that comfortably accommodates 6 guests. For larger groups, Captain Charles can arrange additional boats and professional guides to keep everyone on the fish. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha V6 engine with a maximum cruising speed of 55 knots, the boat is equipped with modern navigation electronics, life preservers, a wireless trolling motor, live baitwell, and an ice-box for your catch.
Using medium light tackle, you’ll target Striped Bass by bottom fishing, spinning, jigging, popping, and drift fishing. This trip is family-friendly—kids are welcome, and one child aged 6 or under can even fish for free!
Captain Charles provides everything you’ll need: rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. At the end of your trip, he’ll fillet and bag your fish at no extra cost. All you need to bring are fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks. If you’re looking for lodging, check Mead, OK, and Kingston, OK. Both towns cater to Striper fishermen, with safe lodging ranging from remodeled budget motor inns to lakeside resorts.

Highly recommend
Charles had issues with his boat the day before our trip and set us up with another guide he trusted. We had a “slow” morning, but ended up with more than enough fish to call the trip a success. I would highly recommend Charles and anyone he recommends.

Awesome Captain in Rough Waves
The day we fished the wind was blowing 40 mph, and the waves were as high as the boat. It was obvious that Charles was an experienced captain, because he navigated the rough water like pro and kept us all safe. I didn't expect to catch much in such terrible conditions, but Charles managed to find a school and we caught a few. We had a great time, and we are going to book with Charles again on our next trip.

We have hired several different guides on Lake Texoma over the years, and some have been quite rough. We are so glad we found Charles. He was by far the best guide we have ever had. We are sensative to swear words, and we did not hear a single swear word come out of his mouth all day. He was a perfect gentleman. Oh my golly, the amount of fish we caught. We will be giving some to all our neighbors.

Charles took us right to where stripers were - starting catching fish within 20 minutes. Kept our lines baited quickly. Caught our limit and had time to tour around the lake a bit. We enjoyed the trip.
