Reddy Guide Service is all about fishing the stunning waters of Delavan & Geneva Lake. Being his hometown, and having logged many hours on these lakes, Captain John can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Sunfish, Walleye, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before you say 'Fish on!' You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
You'll be dropping lines from an 18' Alumacraft Tournament Pro 185 with room for up to 5 passengers. It has all of the essentials, with the latest technology. Capt. John will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, excluding large northern pike minnows, but be sure to ask Capt. John prior to the trip.
Before coming aboard, you will have to purchase a fishing license for those 16 years or older fishing that day. Licenses can be purchased online or at the local bait shop across from the launch prior to the trip.
A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had an amazing experience with Captain John Reddy! He took my son and his friend out for a morning of fishing, and they caught so many fish that they couldn’t stop talking about it afterward. John was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and great with the kids. He made sure everyone was comfortable, having fun, and learning along the way. The boat was well-equipped, the trip was organized perfectly, and the fishing was outstanding. Seeing the excitement on the boys’ faces with every catch made the day unforgettable.
