Capt. Brandon believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep up those energy levels!

Your excursion begins aboard a 23' Shamrock sportfishing boat with space for 4 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own.
