31 and Done Charters is your ticket to the stunning waters of Kodiak. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Rich knows them forwards and back.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Halibut, Rockfish, Cod, Salmon, Drummer / Rock Blackfish, and who knows what else!
During the trip you might be light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
If you're traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks!
You'll be welcome aboard a 24' Aluminum fishing with room for 4 passengers. It has downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with 31 and Done Charters.
