What You Can Catch:
• Snook – Arguably the most sought-after inshore species in Jupiter. Known for their powerful runs and acrobatics, snook are abundant around bridges, seawalls, and mangroves, especially in spring and summer.
• Tarpon – The “silver king” shows up in good numbers during the warmer months. Juvenile tarpon can be found in the rivers and back bays year-round.
• Spotted Seatrout – Common over grass flats and sandy potholes, especially during cooler months. Great for light tackle and beginners.
• Redfish – Though less common than in other parts of Florida, redfish are still a quality catch in select areas around Jupiter.
• Jack Crevalle – Hard-hitting and aggressive, these fish are always ready to crush a topwater lure and test your gear.
• Mangrove Snapper – Excellent table fare and a fun fight on light tackle, found near rocks, docks, and mangrove edges.
• Sheepshead & Black Drum – Targeted more in winter, often found around structure and bridges.
