Capt. Scott operates a 30' Grady-White center console with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
A few items to bring include bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Scott and his first mate Mr. Pat was awesome! very easy going and patient. We had some family fly up from San Diego to test the Atlantic waters and Captain Scott did not dissapoint! Fought a whole lot of Amberjacks, Vermilion Snappers, Black Sea Bass and a lot more variety of species! We had a great time and will book again with McKinley Charters again!!
We had a super fun time, very respectful and generous owners. Highly recommend for your next outing and we will ABSOLUTELY book again! We took kids on our trip and they had a blast as well. If you want big fish this guy can put you on them and you will not regret booking. this trip. Great boat for deep sea fishing and well maintained.

Thank you Michael,it was great having your family aboard.Hope to see you again.
We had a blast. I have chartered with numerous captains while visiting Surfside and I’ve had the best opportunities with McKinley’s. We caught a variety of fish and moved when the bite slowed. My teenage boys loved it and have not stopped talking about how sore their arms were/are after catching so many fish.
Captain Scott put in the effort to take us out to troll and Bottom fish. Trolling we caught one Dolphin fish bite was slow so we moved closer to shore to bottom fish. We put 23 keepers in the ice and several through backs either small or fish we didn’t want to keep. Great day though, thank you
We knew it was going to be a rough sea day Scott handled the boat and the ocean very professionally
