Grew up on the small island of Marco. I began fishing as a kid and got my own boat when I was 15. I started going fishing after school and on the weekend with my buddies. I fell in love with the backcountry and the abundance of fish that you can catch. After many years of fishing, I decided to start my own charter business to show people what I have learned over the years. Book a trip today and see what fishing around Marco is all about

My brother and I booked a half day inshore fishing trip with Captain John for my dad as a Christmas gift. We didn’t go out fishing, we went out “catching” because Captain John really put us on the fish! We ended up catching some slot reds and trout. Nothing better than having a monster red fish on the end of the line!

The boat was clean, the rods were brand new, and Captain John had the boat in the water and was waiting for us for a prompt departure.

We all had a great overall experience!

Plenty of action with dozens of speckled trout and two large triple tails. The 20+ pound tarpon was a nice surprise, especially in November.
