Bulldog Fishing Charters invites you to experience the stunning waters of Lampe Marina in Erie, Pa and North East Community Marina. Captain Steve will be your guide, which means you'll tap into their local experience.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Walleye, and whatever else takes the bait. You can expect to do some trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep 'em happy!
You'll be fishing aboard a 27' Sport Craft sportfishing vessel that holds up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Also we give Military, veterans, first responders, & nurses discounts!!! If you are one of these make sure to let us know when you book! Thank you for your service.
You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Despite the weather and our will of still wanting to give it a try the captain still worked with us and it was a awesome day to remember caught some great fish seen a lot of great views and had good experiences to remember. I would definitely recommend this captain and his charters. I was nervous at first I’m not much of a people person but he made it a very comfortable atmosphere and it didn’t take me long at all to relax and enjoy a great vacation trip. I will be booking another soon with Steve. Thanks for everything.

Fabulous trip! Lifelong fisherman but i had never even seen a Lake Trout in person. Booked an A.M. trip for me and my wife, a newer fisherman. Captain Steven and his mate, also Steven, did a great job hooking us up with Lake Trout as big as 32", 15 lbs. - and also a bonus/accidental steelhead. Captain Steve is a genuinely very nice guy, from the moment you book to any/all pre-trip messages (responds quickly) to onboard instructions, etc. He treats his clients with respect, patience and kindness. Highly recommend this charter!

i took my son and his friend fishing with Steve for my sons 16th birthday - was a great experience. The boat and gear were great, and Steve was very kind, helpful and informative. plus he got us in last minute - very accommodating! would recommend - especially if you want to troll for walleye!

I recommend Bulldog Fishing Charters with Steve Scaife. They have one of the most spectacular boats in the whole marina. Their equipment was very nice and plentiful. No matter how many people you bring from 1 to 6 people... everybody is going to have rods and brings back up rods if need be. There were I believe 30 extremely nice fishing rods on the boat. That was the most resourced boat I seen at the marina. Steve was a pro of a pro. Steve is extremely fishing knowledgeable. Was a great boat driver and a safe boat driver. We had one of the best days of our lives. We limited out on the walleye and Steve went back and filleted all fish on the boat at the fish cleaning station. That service was just an additional $50. Can't wait to schedule a lake trout fishing trip next Thanks Steve -James Spinelli

Capt and 1st mate were great,put us on fish & were teaching the boys how we were catching em.We limited out in lil less then 3 hours,wouldn’t hesitate not hesitate to use this charter again
