Depending on the season, you might hook into Walleye, and whatever else takes the bait.

You can expect to do some trolling, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks to keep 'em happy!

You'll be fishing aboard a 27' Sportfishing that holds up to 6 passengers. It has downriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 20% tip is customary.

You might need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
