My friend and i took our 7 year old sons out fishing for their first time with Captain Sergio. He was awesome, and we had a wonderful day... Until we got back to the dock and I was told that while I paid the trips deposit via credit card, the owner would not accept the same credit card for the balance payment. Nor would they accept PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle, or any other credit card, as they did not want to pay the commission to FishingBooker. Instead, they insisted that they required over $300 USD in cash on the spot, which I did not bring with me. The only solution they would accept was for me to go to a bank and withdraw the cash. To do this, they required me to go in a van with two men I had never met, leaving my friend and our sons behind. This took over an hour, was unsafe and inappropriate, and could have been avoided with better communication. Captain Sergio was awesome and we had a great time on the boat, but it was somewhat ruined by the experience afterward.
I apologize for the payment issue; I just wanted it resolved as quickly as possible. Your feedback helps us improve our service. Have a good day, and we'll continue to improve.
5 anglers. 27bonita, 95 rockfish. We reeled until we couldn’t reel anymore! Ended up with 3 large coolers full of fillets!
Captain Sergio was Great! He really made a grand effort to get us to the fish! Between the 3 of Us we caught 17 total: 12 Rock, 4 White Fish & 1 Bonita.
It was a awesome day! Had me and my family fishing and catching left and right. The crew was on point. It was everything we where hoping for and more. Appreciate this boat.
Such an easy process to book and get licenses. My family and I really enjoyed our trip. The Captain Jose and Sergio were nonetheless outstanding and helpful. We definitely recommend them. The crew made us a fresh ceviche from our catch, DELICIOUS!! We're looking forward to coming back soon and most definitely during prime fishing months.
