Bonefish Paradise fishing services 

I will definitely return to this island. Considering the strange conditions caused by the full moon, we probably saw over 350 bonefish over the course of four days. One day, 90 percent of the fish just vanished, but did teturn the next tide. The fish were very spooky and many also just followed the fly for a few feet and then just continued along. The captain got me a lot of shots at fish and I landed a few with some nice pictures on this beautiful island in the Bahamas.

Such a tough day and Dwayne did everything a good guide could do to find fish. We contended with 20-30 mph winds and broken clouds. The bones didn’t want to come up to the flats and the few fish we did locate were in slightly deeper water. I was able to get my fly to one and catch my first bone. Dwayne was incredibly fun to be with and we moved around a lot looking for fish. The boat was what I look for when I find a guide, older, well used and well maintained. I learned a ton and couldn’t have asked for a better trip considering the conditions. My wife was able to come along as a non-angler and wandered some of the sand bars while we fished. I’ll definitely be booking with Dwayne the next time I come to Long Island and I’ll be praying the weather is a bit nicer.

Second day with Dwayne. The conditions sucked and it was our final day on Long Island so we ventured back out. Anytime I pay for a guided trip, I’m paying for an experience not numbers. Dwayne made the trip as worthwhile as possible and continued to teach me about the flats and bonefish. I would happily pay double or triple his guide price if he put on a bonefish class. His knowledge is incredible and his humor is always present. My wife and I are considering Exuma for our next trip and I will probably find a way to get over to Long Island just to fish with Dwayne again.

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a week bonefishing with Captain Dwayne Knowles the week of Feb 25, 2017. Dwayne is extremely knowledgeable about the flats around Long Island and worked very hard to make this a successful fishing trip. He did his best to put us on the fish in spite of some windy and cloudy weather. Dwayne knows his craft and we were able to catch enough bonefish to keep us smiling and happy. I would recommend Dwayne to anyone wanting to catch bonefish on Long Island!! Thanks, Dwayne!!

This was the best guide I could have on my grandsons first bonefishing trip. Dwayne was very patient and made the experience unforgettable. He was very instructive, knowledgeable of where the fish were, and pleasant. My grandson caught 13 bonefish, 3 Spanish Mackerel, 5 Blue Runners on a fly rod. Then on a spinning rod he caught 2 lemon sharks and one black tip shark. Dwayne made it all happen. I would highly recommend him as your guide!

We had a great time with Captain Knowles. We hope to visit again later this year!!

Dwayne is an outstanding guide. His ability to see the bonefish is amazing. He was able to put us on fish consistently. And he did not get frustrated with my poor casting abilities. One of the days the fishing was tough because of the high winds, but he stayed out an extra two hours just so we could catch a fish. He is really great.

He brought us through many areas to see bonefish and eventually caught a large one and a small one.
