There's a fish with your name on it in Wanchese and Lady M.J. Charters will help you catch it! Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Andy is prepared to put you on fish.

Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Cobia, Bluefish, Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Tilefish, White Marlin, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, Spanish Mackerel, and whatever else is biting. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll using heavy tackle.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Don't forget to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!

You'll be casting lines from a 30' Grady-White cuddy cabin with space for 5 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

It's always wise to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
