Saltwater Junkie Fishing Charters is ready to take you on an adventure in St. Joe Bay. Operated by Capt. Cole, a 3rd generation captain, born and raised fishing St. Joe Bay.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Pompano, TripleTail, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead and Spanish Mackerel. Based on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, or maybe something more hands on like scalloping. Capt. Cole can also take you Flounder gigging.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Also remember to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Your vessel for the day is a 24' Blazer Bay boat with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

This was our favorite thing we did the entire vacation! All 4 of our boys absolutely loved it. I had no idea what to expect, especially because we had little to no fishing experience. Cole was an amazing Captain and helped us with everything. We all caught so many fish (redfish and speckled trout) there was never a dull moment. The youngest boys learned to cast really far. We got a great tour of the area. Captain Cole even cleaned our fish and delivered it to us at the resort afterwards. Do not miss out on this excursion! This is a must do!!!

I had asked Cole to put my son on a hog for my son, he did not disappoint. he even topped of a bucket list for me. We didn’t spend all day jetting around the the bay but targeted producing areas. Could not keep but 2 red fish hogs, but we kept on catching and releasing. A memorable time for me to share with my son. Thank you Captain Cole! Ernie & Taylor

Despite less-than-ideal weather conditions, we had a great day on the water. Our guide was knowledgeable, experienced, and knew the area extremely well. He adapted to the conditions and worked hard to put us on fish, making the most of every opportunity. His professionalism and positive attitude made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Cole and look forward to fishing with him again.
Cole, the guide, was AMAZING! Super friendly and helpful. We had a great time. Caught a variety of fish, crabs, and even a shark! Highly recommend. We will be back! We had adults and kids. The trip was perfect for all ages. He even supplied drinks if you absolutely needed! You won’t regret booking with him.

Captain Cole was able to accommodate my son (11) and I at the last minute for a first time in-shore trip. Even though we didn’t catch what we were hoping for, we did have some excitement catching and releasing a variety of catfish, crabs, and sharks! Definitely will book again with Captain Cole!
