You're likely to go after Black Grouper, Swordfish, Wahoo, Goliath Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, Yellowtail Snapper, Cobia, Great Barracuda, Mangrove Snapper, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Hogfish, Amberjack, and more, depending on when you go.

During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Jordan believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!

Your trip begins aboard a 37' Center console that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Capt. Jordan will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.

A few items to bring include sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
