Hop on board his 20' Pro-Marine Intruder, with a 115 HP Yamaha engine that will get you to the fishing grounds in no time. This vessel also has great navigational and safety equipment.
Once on board, just sit back and watch and learn how mother nature comes alive on the waterways of 'The Old North State'. People down there smile a lot, and Capt. Bud believes it's because they are blessed and know it, and get such pleasure from sharing their blessings with others.
You'll be able to target a huge range of species on these trips, such as Mahi Mahi, Hammerhead Shark, Cobia, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, and many more. After your trip, Capt. Bud will happily fillet your haul for you.
Once on board, you'll use a range of techniques to hook your trophy catch, from trolling and spinning to bottom fishing. Everyone is welcome to join in, no matter your age or experience level.
All rods and reels are provided, as well as the live bait that's prepared before the trip. This gives you more time to fish! You are welcome to bring a small cooler of food and drink. Please remember to purchase a fishing license before the day.

it was great having you two aboard. look forward to our next trip together. I really think you’ll like the new boat we are adding to our company.
My sister and I had a wonderful time fishing with captain Bud. He took us to some great fishing areas, and was masterful in his keeping our lines baited and removing the many fish we caught. He was well prepared, his boat was clean, and his personality was a joy. Our smile muscles got a great work out along with our arms and hands. We would highly recommend his service to anyone.

Catching those sharks was a blast and dang do they put up a fight the light gear made it a real memorable experience. Captain Bud is an outstanding fisherman who displayed a wealth of knowledge about the waters and landmarks around the Beaufort / Morehead city waterways. His patience, knowledge, attention to detail, and experience as well as a well cared for and clean boat made for a great time on the water. I recommend this charter! A great day on the water. Caught plenty of Black Sea bass, sand perch, toadfish, and puffer fish. Captain Bud is very knowledgeable about the area. He took us out into the ocean as well, just to say we did, although it was too windy to fish
