Captain Brent comes from a family rich with experienced fishermen and his uncle founded the notorious Spencer Yacht company. Fishing is in his blood.

Capt. Austin is from raleigh but grew up near Morehead city. He went to NC State, where he studied microbiology. He has fished commercially or in professional saltwater tournaments for 20+ years. He is no stranger to Falls Lake.

Target species: Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Silver Perch, Catfish, White Bass, Common Bream, White Perch, Freshwater Drum, Striped Bass, carp and more with any luck.

You're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Brent and Austin can also provide camping and sandbar essentials including onboard grill and watersports/tubing.

Families making of a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, we will provide. Please feel free to bring you own food and drinks. NO COOLERS without special permission from Capt. NO BANANAS

Capt. Brent and Capt. Austin will bring you aboard a 30' Center console with capacity for 8 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, a porta fighting chair, all the essentials. There's a porta toilet on board for your convenience.

You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

We will help you obtain fishing license if needed. Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. Simply ask and your Capt. can tell you more.

Some essentials to bring are sunglasses and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. We can stock the boat with both upon request.
