You won't have to travel far to fish these inshore and backcountry waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.

Marko specializes in light tackle fishing, and that's what you can expect on the day of your trip. You may also spin for your catch. Marko will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.

Peacock Bass, Largemouth Bass, and a variety of exotic cichlids, depending on the season.

Groups of up to 4 are welcome on these excursions. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.

Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one . You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock in any weather conditions.
