Marko Devcic specializes in fishing the waters around South Florida and invites you along for a trip to remember.

You won't have to travel far to fish these inshore and backcountry waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.

Marko specializes in light tackle fishing, and that's what you can expect on the day of your trip. You may also spin for your catch. Marko will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.

Peacock Bass, Largemouth Bass, and a variety of exotic cichlids, depending on the season, will be targeted.

Groups of up to 4 are welcome on these excursions. You'll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions.

Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one . You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunblock in any weather conditions.

Marko will have some snacks and drinks for you. Ready to have the whole family unplug? Then you'll be glad to know that kids are more than welcome. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you'll have to bring your own.
