If you are a dedicated angler drawn to true wilderness fishing with a strong respect for the resource, Screaming Reels takes you deep into the Seychelles Outer Islands — one of the world’s last largely untouched marine ecosystems. Here, Giant Trevally explode on surface lures, Dogtooth Tuna test heavy tackle to its limits, and Wahoo, Yellowfin, Sailfish, and powerful reef species deliver world-class action in pristine waters.
Our expeditions run 8–10 days offshore aboard Poerava, a 37’ Fountaine Pajot liveaboard vessel purpose-built for long-range fishing missions. With just four anglers on board, the focus is on quality over quantity: more space, more time on productive water, and a low-impact footprint far beyond day-boat range.
These trips are designed for experienced anglers who value skill, preparation, and responsible fishing practices. We specialize in:
• Giant Trevally on topwater
• Dogtooth Tuna in deep water
• Yellowfin & Wahoo along bluewater edges
• Sailfish on surface feeds
• Coral Trout, Red Bass, Jobfish & Grouper on reef systems
All fishing is conducted with a conservation-first mindset. We prioritize best-practice catch-and-release techniques, careful fish handling, appropriate tackle to minimize fight times, and selective harvesting only where sustainable and appropriate.
Each expedition is led by a crew with extensive Outer Islands experience, reading tides, currents, and conditions across Alphonse, Coetivy, Platte, the Amirantes, and surrounding offshore structures. Days are spent fishing from sunrise to sunset, rotating between popping, jigging, trolling, and deep presentations based on conditions and bite windows — always with respect for the environment we operate in.
Life aboard Poerava balances comfort with capability:
• Professional skipper and onboard chef
• All meals prepared fresh onboard
• Exceptional range and fuel capacity
• Purpose-built, gear-ready fishing deck
• Safety systems for remote water waters
