Had an awesome 4-hour shark fishing trip from the shore with Captain AJ! He knows his stuff when it comes to the sharks and definitely knows the best spots to fish. We ended up catching a 7-foot brown shark, which was an absolutely crazy experience. AJ was great to fish with and made the whole trip a ton of fun. Definitely recommend booking with him if you want to catch some sharks!

🙌🙌🙌
Was on a bachelor trip and we came across AJ's charter. Safe to say we had an absolute blast. He is knowledgeable, had the right equipment, and was communicative through the whole process. Can't imagine its easy to put on a trip for 10 guys and keep everyone locked in, but he found a way. Definitely would recommend and will book with AJ again.
We had a fantastic shark fishing experience! Our guide AJ was friendly, informative, and flexible, and made the trip fun from start to finish. We caught several sharks, learned about each one, and safely released them back into the water. It was an exciting and educational experience, and I highly recommend it!
This was a great time for the whole family including my daughter (9) and son (12).We have been on boat charters before and being on shore gave so much more freedom to hunt for shells and run around which was just what we needed. AJ was knowledgeable, inclusive, safe and fun. Being up close to a 6 1/2 foot shark was incredible.

Fishing has been a part of my life ever since I was a kid, starting in local ponds catching largemouth bass, then eventually leading me to the beaches of Cape Cod, where I'd surf cast for striped bass and bluefish. My father spent over 40 years commercial fishing, and growing up around that lifestyle taught me discipline, respect for the ocean, and what real time on the water looks like. When I was really young, I'd join my dad on the boat, catching tuna right alongside him and hand-lining cod on trips I'll never forget. Those early memories on the water sparked everything that came after. In my late teens, I gained even more hands-on experience working on a commercial lobster and tuna boat — hauling lobster traps 40 miles off shore, and making trips to Maine and Georges Bank chasing giant bluefin tuna. Those years built the foundation that shaped the fisherman and guide I am today. My passion for land based shark fishing began the night I hooked my first brown shark from shore. The power and adrenaline changed everything. From that moment on, I was determined to learn everything about the fishery — rod & reel setups, tides, proper bait, moon phases, weather patterns, and how these sharks move through Cape Cods waters. That commitment drove me to understand the brown shark fishery inside and out. CapeJaws was created to share that experience with others. Every trip focuses on safety, conservation, and giving clients an unforgettable, hands-on encounter with one of the Cape's most powerful coastal predators. The best part of guiding is seeing families and first-time anglers light up when a shark reaches the shoreline. Those smiles, those moments, those stories — that's why CapeJaws exists, and it's why I love what I do. Book an adventure today!
