Spend the day with Hammer Down Sportfishing and find out what the fishing in Clearwater Florida is all about! Your guide for the day is Captain Bryce, allowing you to benefit from their angling experience.
These waters are known for Snook, Redfish, Tarpon, Speckled Trout, Gag Grouper, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Hogfish, and more – with any luck, you'll hook into a few! For these species, you're likely to use light tackle.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites to stay fueled throughout your trip!
Your day begins aboard a 28' Caymas bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. Rods and reels are supplied for you, as well as live bait! We will have ice and waters already on the boat. So bring whatever drinks/snacks you would like!
A First Mate might be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip. If we don't have a first mate then don't worry about it.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Charter with captain bryce

Had a blast with captain bryce. Took me and my dad out for a father son trip while my dad was in town. He came highly recommended and did not disappoint. From the time we stepped on the boat to the time we finished the day it was an absolute blast. Very passionate and knowledgeable about his craft. It didn’t feel like a charter it felt like a day on the water with a friend that we’ve known for a while. I would highly recommend captain bryce and hammer down sport fishing to anyone looking to get out on the water, no matter the time of year. Thanks Capt. Bryce

We had a great trip with Captain Bryce's Hammer Down Sportfishing! Captain Bryce was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the local waters. Thanks to his guidance, we caught both redfish and snook and had an awesome time doing it. The boat and equipmant were clean and well maintained, and he made the experience fun and easy for everyone, no matter their skill level. Amazing trip with Captain Bryce!

Had an absolutely amazing time with Captain Bryce at Hammer Down Fishing. From start to finish, the trip was smooth, fun, and well run. He clearly knows the waters, put us on fish, and made sure everyone had a great experience the entire time. On top of that, he’s incredibly charming with an awesome personality. Regardless of the amazing fishing experience, just getting to know him was the highlight of the trip.

The Trip with Hammer Down Sportfishing led by Captain Bryce Artze was absolutely incredible. Not only did he put us on fish all day, but he was very nice and personable. 10 out of 10 day and I recommend you go out for a days trip with him!
