Canaveral Angler Project Charters
If you're on vacation in Central Florida come aboard Canaveral Angler Project Charters. My name is George Cox and I am your Coast Guard-certified owner/operator/fishing adventure guide.
Around here it's common to catch Snook, Redfish, Sheepshead, Speckled Trout, Tripletail, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Mangrove Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Mahi Mahi, Cobia, Bull Shark, Red Grouper, and more. On these trips, species and tactics change based on the customer, trip type, angler experience, season and weather conditions.
I believe in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so get 'em offline and onto the water! The joy of reeling something in is contagious.
Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea to keep 'em happy, and occupied at times.
If you are unsure of motion sickness bring some Dramamine, they make a non-drowsy and regular. In my experience, if you're prone to motion sickness take regular Dramamine the night before and the non-drowsy approximately 1 hr before departure.
I run a 25' custom center console fishing boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all coast guard approved safety equipment and all the essentials. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. No hard liquor as well as no glass bottles.
Canaveral Angler Project Charters, feel free to send Capt. George a message concerning any questions.

We took the family out on a trip with Capt. George, and it was an awesome experience! My two boys (13 and 8) absolutely love fishing, and George was incredible with them. He was patient, took the time to explain things, and really taught them along the way—not just fishing, but how to do it the right way. We caught some fish and had a great time as a family. Highly recommend booking a trip with Capt. George!
went the extra mile
Hey everyone. My name is George Cox and Im a native of this area. I have a passion for the ocean and its a pleasure to take people fishing. My dad first took me out when I was four years old and I've never been the same. There are so many species to target and catch accidentally outside and inside the Jetties. We are blessed to live in such a wonderful place and it would be my pleasure to take your family fishing and show you some of what our coast has to offer.
