Cabo waters are known for Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Blue Marlin, Roosterfish, Sailfish, Sierra Mackerel, Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowtail Amberjack, and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!"

For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Christian also offers kite fishing.

Your fishing machine for the day is a 37' Sportfishing with space for 12 passengers. It Gyro stabilized and has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait as available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.

Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

You can't go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
