March Madness- Roanoke River Striper Migration
Join us for world-class, catch-and-release action as thousands of Striped Bass push through Plymouth, NC. During the spring, the lower Roanoke River becomes the most productive striper fishery in the southeast. For the month of March we move our operations off the beach and focus on this healthy, immense fishery.
If you plan on fishing in Plymouth, look no further than Tidal Pursuits Fishing LLC. With Captain Esben at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Hybrid Striped Bass, Striped Bass, and more could be biting, depending on conditions.
You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, drifting, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Esben also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
The captain has a strict catch-and-release policy, so any fish you catch will go back in the water.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks to keep 'em happy!
You'll be casting lines from a 21' Bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Capt. Esben will provide rods and reels for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
