Make some memories in Goodland and go fishing with Floridajaws. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Noah knows them forwards and back.
Around here the fishing is popular for Red Grouper, Blackfin Tuna, Goliath Grouper, Gag Grouper, African Pompano Jack, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Wahoo, Amberjack, Mutton Snapper, Tarpon, Spotted Seatrout, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year.
During the trip you might be spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Noah also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing and bowfishing.
Your vessel for the day is a 31' Center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Rods and reels are not covered by the charter, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Be sure to ask about bait and lures as well.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that day dream into a reality, with Floridajaws.
