If you're here to make the most of fishing in Whitehall or west Michigan in general we fish the rivers here from September until May. We transition to Lake Michigan fishing in the early spring but also offer river fishing.

On these river trips, all tackle/bait is provided and you can expect to bobber fish, cast lures, and or troll. On the lake we will be trolling and in some cases jigging.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also remember to bring snacks/drinks to keep their stamina going!

Your day begins aboard a 17' Fish Rite Jet boat with space for 3 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Julian will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Everything you need is provided except snacks and drinks. There is a cooler on board for these items.

You will need to buy a Michigan fishing license before the trip. This information is available online, or you can ask the captain.  We can keep fish within legal guidelines but catch and release is absolutely encouraged as well.

Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
