Atlantic Salmon, Walleye, Coho Salmon, Brown Trout, Chinook Salmon, Muskellunge (Musky), Lake Trout, and more inhabit these waters if conditions are right. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll.
Capt. Steve welcomes children aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea to maintain your energy throughout the trip!
Capt. Steve welcomes you aboard a 27' Kingfisher Escape pilothouse that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, and everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Steve will supply rods and reels for you, along with lures.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Summer fishing trip 2025
Steve and Joe were great. Started off slower but they got the job done and we caught our limit. They worked their butts off to get us on fish. It was our daughter's first time out on lake Michigan and now she is hooked!! We definitely plan to go back next year!

My son and I had an absolute blast this morning. The crew worked their tails off to ensure we had every opportunity to catch fish. We walked away with some wonderful memories and a cooler full of fish!

Steve and Joe are good guys and run a nice charter. They hooked us up with some King Salmon fairly quickly, and explained what and why they were doing as we went. Several seemingly large fish spit their hooks or we would have limited out early. All in all it was a good day of catching salmon on the big lake!
