On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Capt. Elmer runs a 32' Sportfishing that can carry up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before coming aboard, it may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed.
