Alaska Sportfishing Excursions
Enjoy a private trip on the water aboard Syren, a comfortable boat that seats up to 6 guests. The vessel features a fully enclosed, heated cabin for comfort during the trip, a private onboard head (bathroom), refrigerator, and spacious outdoor deck, great for both fishing and sightseeing.
On Syren, our primary targets are Salmon and Rockfish, offering an exciting mix of surface action and bottom fishing. Depending on the timing of your trip, you'll likely encounter acrobatic Silver (Coho) Salmon, hard-fighting Pinks, or the mighty King (Chinook) Salmon. Down in the rocky depths, we'll target a variety of flavorful Rockfish, including Pelagic species like Black Bass and the iconic Yelloweye.
Round-trip transportation between downtown Juneau or your hotel and the marina is included in the price. Once you book, we'll reach out to finalize your specific pickup details. Generally, we'll head out 30 minutes before departure and have you back about 30 minutes after we hit the dock. The 5% City and Borough of Juneau tax is already baked into the rate, no surprises at checkout. All fishing gear and bait are provided for every angler, along with water and light snacks to keep you refreshed throughout the trip. Even with a heated cabin, Alaska's 'liquid sunshine' and sea breezes are real, so wearing layers and waterproof shoes will make your time on the outdoor deck much more enjoyable.
You are welcome to keep your catch within the 2026 ADF&G sportfishing limits, and to make the experience seamless, we partner with our friends at Alaska Dock To Door. They offer full filleting, vacuum-sealing, and flash-freezing with shipping directly to your doorstep.
Every angler must buy a one-day fishing license ($15.00) and King Salmon stamp (if applicable) online at the ADFG website. Do this before you arrive at the dock to save time.

You will not be disappointed when you choose to fish with Captain Lee and Nicole! There were six of us-two adults and four kiddos who all love to fish but this brought a whole new level to the love of fishing. We found multiple hot spots for bottom fishing (our preference as you can choose to do salmon trolling too) and caught huge Alaskan Cod and many different kinds of fish. This was an unforgettable experience for all of us, especially the kids. Along with some of the best fish we have ever caught, we got to see multiple large Humpback whales, seals, and eagles, so we got the experience of whale watching tours up close and personal. This is one you don’t want to pass up!
Thank you Brad and crew! It was an absolute pleasure having you folks aboard! Nicole and I enjoyed that trip as much as everyone 😃 Come back and fish with us again sometime! 🤙🎣

We had a group of 5, mixed ages. We all caught fish and had tons of fun doing it! We are not seasoned fishermen, so help and guidance from Captain and Crew was much appreciated! It was foggy, raining, and choppy out. Captain Lee navigated to perfection and found the fish hotspots for us. He and first mate were so nice and fun! They made our trip! Many thanks!!
Thank you!! 🙏 It was a pleasure having you and your's onboard Kathleen! you are a trooper and first class fisher! Nicole and I look forward to trying that Worcestershire sauce of yours!!! Good fishing to you folks always ❤️ ~Lee and Nicole 🎣
Easy pickup by the cruise port! It was cold and a little rainy, but the heated cabin and snacks kept the kids that didn't pick fishing from complaining! Loved that we had the boat to ourselves. Appreciated good communication as well!
Thank you folks again! We're glad you all had a fun trip!!! 🎣🎉
Captain Lee showed us a great time, and provided a comfortable, clean environment. He also put us on some awesome fish!
Thank you James and Florian! 🙏 You were an absolute pleasure to have onboard 💯% Great job on fighting those beautiful Kings! Come back and fish with us anytime. 🎣

Captian Lee was a great guide, he did his very best to ensure we all had a good time. While we did get an unusal 3 hits at the same time, we came away with no fish but fun stories.
Thanks Susan and crew! You folks were amazing guests! and yes, that TRIPLE on King Salmon was and is one for the books!
