Off The Dock Charters
This trip is a week long on our 97' yacht off the coast of Kodiak. The trip will consist of a week of fishing and also will be the option to have a guided brown bear viewing trip in the field up close and personal!
Halibut, Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Cod, Lingcod, Rockfish, Black rockfish are on the list of species to target while fishing.
On the day of your trip you're likely to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Trips with Off The Dock Charters are kid-friendly, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Children 11 and under must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Feel free to bring your own snacks to keep their stamina going!
You'll be dropping lines from a 97' Motor yacht with room for 10 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain.
It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.

Kodiak, Alaska, United States
Capt. TBD runs trips out of Kodiak aboard a 40' Perfection Catamaran. These waters are known for Halibut and Salmon and he will show you how to catch them, whether you're trolling or bottom fishing. With great knowledge of the area he has a trick or two up his sleeve, and the only way to learn is to join him out on the water!
