West Coast Fish & Beach
If you're ready to get hooked on fishing on the west side of Puerto Rico, we've got you covered with West Coast Fish & Beach. Captain Carlo will be your guide, offering their angling experience. We have multiple departure areas on the west side of the island!
You're likely to go after King Mackerel (Kingfish), Skipjack Tuna, Great Barracuda, Spanish Mackerel, Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Yellowtail Snapper, Yellowfin Tuna, Cubera Snapper, and more with any luck. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Carlo welcomes children aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be dropping lines from a 25' Wellcraft center console that holds up to 5 passengers. It has outriggers, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 15–20% tip is customary.
A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and towel's. Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
You could keep reading this, but wouldn't you rather be fishing or beach with West Coast Fish & Beach?
For Questions or concerns don't hesitate to reach us, we will be pleased to help out for your best Boat day experience.

Captain Carlos goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and his boat and equipment if really nice! Had a tough bite went 2 for 5 with a bunch of short hitters. Lost one really big one that was probably my fault. After fishing he took myself, my wife my 9,8 and 3 year old to the prettiest beach and we had the best lunch! Captain Carlos is a great choice to book for families. I have been on a lot of charters, this was my first with my family. We are pretty cautious parents but we felt very safe with the kids on his boat, and the kids had a blast. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Carlos again.
The captain was actually early of his boat very friendly and greeted us in the parking area. The boat was in good shape and he brought very nice fruit tray and beverages. He communicated a lot laughed and was fun and knew the business. All the safety details actually be expected and we had fun talking to him. I caught two smaller barracuda and my brother caught one larger and that was it for the day my two came right after we started trolling and has came right before we came back so we had a low of about three hours or really cotton no fish. Understand it really isn't his fault but just the way it went. While we didn't get skunked it was pretty limited, but I would go out again with him.
We didn't catch many fish, but Carlo is a great captain. He made the trip enjoyable even though we didn't have a whole of success fishing. The sunset was beautiful and we really enjoyed ourselves. I recommend Carlo if you're looking for a fishing option on the west side of the island.
Weather does not always align with vacation plans but Capt. Carlo had the integrity to make sure we didn’t go out in crappy conditions and this made all the difference with our trip!
such a fun experience for our family. Captain and first mate were super freindly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. During our 4 hour fishing/sunset ride, we caught fish, went snorkeling, and enjoyed the snacks and drinks that were provided. Would highly recommend Captain Carlos!
