Make the most of your time in Quepos and go fishing with Spearfisher 1.
These waters are known for African Pompano Jack, Roosterfish, Red Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, Yellowfin Tuna, and more – with any luck, they'll make your reel scream.
For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Your excursion begins aboard a 23' Panga with capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
The click of a button is the only thing keeping you from a great day on the water with Spearfisher 1!
