You'll step aboard a 21' iKon bass boat that can carry up to 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials that no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Reed has rods and reels for you, along with lures.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

What an incredible day on the water! 🎣🔥 If you’re thinking about booking a bass fishing trip, do yourself a favor and book with Rooke Guide Services. Reed was first-class from start to finish. His boat, electronics, and gear were all top-notch. Before we made our first cast, he took the time to explain the tackle we’d be using and made sure we were comfortable and ready to fish. One of the biggest reasons I chose Rooke Guide Services was because I wanted a younger captain that my 13-year-old son could connect with. Being a college student himself, Reed related really well with him, making the trip even more enjoyable and memorable. The fishing was absolutely insane! Reed kept us on fish all day and put us in the middle of multiple feeding frenzies. We caught over 20 bass and missed plenty more. There was never a dull moment! The memories my son and I made today are worth far more than the cost of the trip. We had an absolute blast and will definitely be booking with Reed and Rooke Guide Services again. If you’re on the fence about hiring a guide, don’t hesitate—you won’t regret it! Thanks again, Reed, for an unforgettable day!
I had a great experience today with Reed. He’s a friendly, attentive, and professional young guide who knows his gear and his spots. As a resident of France, I was determined to explore Lake Hartwell during my visit to the region, and I don’t regret hiring his services. Reed has top-notch equipment and managed to locate plenty of fish this morning despite fairly strong winds. This allowed me to hook a few fish and battle an magnificent Striped Bass. I highly recommend this service. Thanks, Reed !
Really enjoyed my trip with Capt Reed. Caught fish as well as learned a lot. Look forward to going again. Thank you!
I am a college angler looking to share my knowledge and experience on the lakes in the North Ga, and Upstate SC region. A trip with me will entail learning about seasonal patterns, electronics, and hot fishing techniques. I hope to see you on the water!
