About the Captain

Adrian Arcay
Costa Adeje, Canarias, Spain
Member since July 2016
Captain Adrian Arcay loves to fish, and his passion eventually led him to start The Rodfather Tenerife Fishing charters a few years ago. Although they are a relatively new addition to the charter industry, both Capt. Adrian and his deckhand have made a great name for themselves, with The Rodfather being known as one of the most famous and successful boats in the area. In June 2016, they competed in the 16th Deep Sea Fishing Championship on La Gomera Island, where they placed 2nd out of 30 boats. Capt. Adrian and his crew always give their all to put their guests on the best catch, while providing them with a quality service and a fantastic day on the water.

Very good trip. Captain Adrian and mate were very friendly and informative. Very good English and very sociable. Loved using the small rods to catch live bait. After trolling for a couple of hours we hooked a tuna. Unfortunately after an hour of reeling the fish got off the hook. All good experience. Saw dolphins and a turtle.

Had a lovely day out very friendly and helpful crew. My 8 year old son and mum “s first fishing trip and they both enjoyed catching bait fish. Moved on to catch blue fin tuna which we found and had a run but didn’t land it. But had an excellent trip and would definitely go back to the Rodfather.
