Major has fished Crappies on Chautauqua Lake NY, Pymatuming Lake PA/OH, Reelfoot Lake TN, Cherokee Lake TN, Old Hickory TN, Kentucky Lake TN, and Grenada Lake MS just to name a few.  From fishing shallow water crappies under a float to deep water spider rigging Major has done it.

Major has fished the Chautauqua Lake Crappie Tournament Himself with co-angler local bass fishing phenom Randy Dustin taking third against his father Marshall and Ray Stearns who won in that respective year.

Major is an extremely wellrounded fisherman from Panfishing Crappies across the eastern United States to fishing Walleyes, Salmon and Trout on two of the Great Lakes.

Additionally Major holds the individual catch record for the east coast on offshore tuna fishing trips for an individual trip record of 22 yellowfin tuna, 1 bigeye tuna, and 2 mature tiger sharks in the 500 pound class, all that from a single trip aboard the biggest fleet on the East, The Helen-H crew out of Hyannis Massachusetts.
