Planning your fishing trip in Sterling just got easier, thanks to Chugach Backcountry Fishing.
Here you'll have access to local waters, including a few honeyholes that only the locals can clue you in on.
Around here it's common to go light tackle fishing, which is what you'll be doing on the day of your trip. You can also do a bit of spinning, jigging, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. You may need to bring your own gear for this trip or rent some for an extra fee. Contact Corey ahead of time so you know what to expect and come prepared.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Salmon, and whatever else is biting.
You'll be fishing aboard a 20' Sportfishing that holds up to 5 passengers.
Your fishing license for the day is not included, so members of your group may need to buy one . You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. Plan to dress in layers and appropriate footwear (if you aren't sure what that means, just ask). It's never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunscreen, and sunglasses, no matter the weather.
Fishing with Chugach Backcountry Fishing is just a click away, so how about it?
