Lakeborn Co. specializes in Lake Erie Walleye fishing charters Lorain, Ohio, offering guided trips on one of the most productive Walleye fisheries in North America.
In the spring, we focus on slow-trolling techniques targeting trophy-sized Lake Erie Walleye on the central basin as fish stage and feed on the reefs. As the season progresses into summer and early fall, we move east, following migrating schools of Walleye and trolling deeper water for consistent action and excellent eating-size fish.
The central basins of Lake Erie are world-renowned for their Walleye fishing, making our trips ideal for families, first-time anglers, and experienced fishermen alike. Our experienced Lakeborn Co. captains provide a safe, enjoyable, and educational charter experience tailored to the season and current conditions.
As the season progresses, Walleye begin their annual migration east.
On the day of your trip you're be trolling.
Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don't forget to bring snacks to ward off any mid-trip fatigue!
What's Required:
-Resident or non-resident fishing licenses
-Dramamine
-Plenty of food and snacks
-Dress for the weather highly recommend to have waterproof clothes
-Cooler with ice to take your fish home
-Sunscreen as needed
-Our boats have ample storage for personal items and extra gear. We recommend bringing enough clothing to stay comfortable in changing Lake Erie conditions.

Capt. Matthew runs trips out of Lorain aboard 25' Duckwater Aluminum fishing. Using trolling, and other techniques, you'll have a chance to catch Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) and Walleye. The only way to learn is to join them on the water.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 30 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
