From the Western Basin Islands to the waters off Geneva, every trip is focused on finding active fish and keeping rods bent throughout the day. Your captain combines decades of walleye fishing experience with the discipline of a proud U.S. military veteran and the professionalism of a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain. Safety, customer service, and hard work are at the core of every trip, and no effort is spared when it comes to finding fish and creating a great experience for everyone on board.
You'll be fishing from a brand-new 2026 Hewescraft Ocean Pro, a heavy-gauge, all-welded aluminum boat built specifically for big-water performance. Powered by a 300HP Yamaha and equipped with both kicker and trolling motors, the boat is designed for precise presentations and maximum fishing efficiency. An enclosed cabin provides protection from the elements, while onboard restroom facilities and comfortable seating help make the day enjoyable in a variety of conditions.
All rods, reels, tackle, and fishing equipment are provided. Just bring a valid fishing license, weather-appropriate clothing, sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and any snacks or drinks you'd like for the day. A hat, rain gear, and layered clothing are also recommended, as conditions on Lake Erie can change throughout the trip.

Fishing with Capt Brian was the best day that I have had on Lake Erie in my years of fishing. He was extremely knowledgeable about fish location, targeted bigger fish, loved to hit limits, and is just a cool guy to spend the day fishing with. A proud Gulf War veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Brian carries the discipline, professionalism, and commitment to excellence that comes from military service into his charter operation. Brian is a devoted family man, married with three daughters, and deeply values time spent together outdoors. One of his greatest joys is watching families fish side-by-side, especially when parents and kids share the excitement of catching fish together. He particularly enjoys introducing young anglers to the sport and strongly believes in taking kids fishing, knowing those early experiences can create lifelong memories and a lasting love for the outdoors.
